People are smarter these days. Women are smarter. Years ago, everything was so much easier, so much more straightforward. Here’s what I mean - go back twenty or thirty years and men were men and women were women. Men did things that men were expected to do, and same again for women. Then, along came the sexual revolution and equality and WHAM! - the playing field had changed completely. The usual routines for picking up women no longer existed. It wasn’t good enough any more for the man to be the breadwinner; he was expected to change diapers and rustle up a four course menu that Gordon Ramsey would be proud of.
A lot of men became enslaved to the new rules. They did their best. Then it became complicated, very complicated. Doing the school run, bringing the wife or girlfriend a cup of tea in bed every morning and letting her watch her television programmes when she wanted to, didn’t cut the mustard any more.
Women realised that they missed the old ‘macho’ real man. But they didn’t want to lose the new man either. They wanted it all! This makes things incredibly confusing for us poor men. We hold open doors thinking we are being chivalrous, only to be told we are demeaning women by doing this. We are polite and mild-mannered, but the problem is now that we are ‘not passionate’ enough!
Well, gentlemen - today is the first day of your new life. It is time for you to be emancipated from the clutches of oppressive rule. Reclaim your identity and become more powerful, more successful and most importantly - happier - than you have been all of your life. This is Fight Club for the masses. No secrecy.
