I don’t quite like this personification… Although that might mean that I am assuming the animals presented here don’t have memory. I do think they have memory, otherwise, the chicken wouldn’t know where to go when it is time to sleep. I am just blaming this line he said because there is no way he could check if they actually remember a thing… Will he go and ask “Hey Alligator, do you remember such and such?” I don’t think so…
